4.3 Walls & Defense

Every territory you own has its own wall ringing the territory border. Walls have a tier (1–5) and an HP pool. Higher tiers have more HP and take more War TNT to break through.

Walls are per-territory. Upgrading the walls in your capital does nothing for your cities, and vice versa. Plan your defences territory by territory.

The wall menu

Stand inside the territory you want to upgrade and run:

/c walls

The menu shows the current tier, the cost to upgrade to the next tier, the resulting HP pool, and the wall material that will be used.

How walls take damage

Walls only take damage from War TNT. Vanilla TNT, creepers, end crystals and ghasts cannot scratch a wall block. This means walls are safe against PvE accidents and griefing.

When a wall block takes damage:

  1. Its HP drops by the War TNT damage value.
  2. If HP hits zero, the block breaks and a hole opens in the wall.
  3. The territory's overall wall HP (shown in the GUI) ticks down by the lost HP.

Once a block is broken it stays broken until you repair the territory. The hole is a real, walkable hole.

Repair

Walls don't auto-regenerate. To rebuild broken blocks, stand in the territory and run:

/c repair wall <tier>

Repair regenerates broken blocks at the given tier and refunds them to their full HP pool. Repair costs money from the country bank and is rate-limited so you can't infinitely repair mid-siege.

Important Repair is locked while a territory is actively being sieged (see 4.4 War & Sieges). You can only patch walls between sieges, not during one.

Building inside a territory

Walls only protect the perimeter. Inside the territory you can build freely, dig down, channel water, etc. Players from other countries cannot place or break blocks in your territory unless they have a visa.

Note that even inside an enemy territory, breaking a wall block requires War TNT — you can't dig through the wall from the inside with a pickaxe.
