1.Introduction

CountryWars is a territory-control plugin built around a fixed map of pre-baked territories. Players form countries, claim a starting capital, expand by capturing neighbouring territories, and fight for control through siege warfare.

This wiki is a reference for players. If you're brand new, start with Quick Start. For a per-system breakdown see Mechanics. For every command in one place see Commands.

Core ideas

  1. The world is divided into hundreds of pre-defined territories — each one is a group of contiguous chunks. You cannot create new territories, only own existing ones.
  2. A country is a group of players that owns one or more territories. Every country has a leader, optional officers, and any number of citizens.
  3. Each country has exactly one capital territory, marked in the world by a beacon. Lose the beacon, lose the country.
  4. Every other owned territory is called a city. Each city is marked by an ender rod at its centre. Lose the rod, lose the city.
  5. Every owned territory (capital or city) has its own walls with HP. Walls are built and upgraded per-territory.
  6. War is the process of breaking through enemy walls with War TNT and destroying the capital beacon or city ender rod inside.

What is and isn't claimable

The custom map paints the world into three regions:

Capitals and cities can only be placed inside a territory. Open the map with /cmap to see what the chunk you're standing in is.
